Maybe it’s time we changed our thinking about health and fitness this year. If you change how you think about your fitness and wellness goals, you just might find that they’re easier to stick with and accomplish.
Sure, getting outside and getting fresh air, sunshine, and a little activity in your day is good for your physical health, but it also does so much for your mental well-being. Even something as simple as taking a walk around the block improves your mood, boosts your energy, and helps you sleep better at the end of the day. 4. Turn Off Your Phone. We know. We know. It sounds extreme, but it doesn’t need to be. Turning off your phone for just a few hours one night per week can have surprising benefits to your family relationships, your mental health, your personal time, and your sleep schedule.
